Class Rating Instructor CRI(A)
 
The privileges of a CRI Course are to instruct for the issue, revalidation or renewal of a class or type rating for non-complex non-high performance single-pilot aeroplanes, when the privileges sought by the applicant are to fly in single-pilot operations.

Entry requirements:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Hold a validClass 1 medical certificate in accordance with EASA Part-MED
• FI Theory certificate
• To act as PIC during the flight course

An applicant for a CRI certificate shall have completed at least:

• for multi-engine aeroplanes:
-500 hours flight time as a pilot on aeroplanes;
-30 hours as PIC on the applicable class or type of aeroplane;

• for single-engine aeroplanes:
-300 hours flight time as a pilot on aeroplanes;
-30 hours as PIC on the applicable class or type of aeroplane.

Duration:

• The course consists of 05:00 hours on multi-engine or 3 hours of flight instruction on single-engineaeroplanes, given by a FI (A) qualified in accordance with EASA Part-FCL.905.FI
• The approximate duration of the course is up to 1 week, depending on weather condition and on student's personal schedule;
