Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
 
If you wish to become a commercial pilot, you are on the right way to go about it. At Phoenix Aviation Academy qualified instructors with airline experience will prepare future CPL pilots to act as a PIC on single engine aircraft in commercial flight and as a copilot in transport aircraft.

Why a Commercial Pilot License (CPL)?

• Attaining a level of flight proficiency;
• Enables a pilot to be paid for the service;

Entry requirements

• At least 18 years of age;
• Hold valid LAPL(A) or PPL(A) in accordance with EASA Part-FCL;
• ATPL or CPL Theory certificate issued by EASA Approved Training Organization;
• Class 1 medical certificate in accordance with EASA Part-MED;
• English Language Proficiency in accordance with EASA Part-FCL.055;

Duration

• CPL(A) training consists of two main phases:
- Visual Flight Training -15:00 hours;
- Instrument Flight Training -10:00 hours;
• The approximate duration of the course is 4-5 weeks, depending on weather condition and on student's personal schedule;

Additional Information

• If the applicant holds valid Instrument Rating (IR) shall be fully credited towards the Instrument Flight Training;
• CPL(A) training can be done on: Cessna 172 M/N/RG or Piper Warrior/Arrow III & IV;
• According to EASA Part-FCL, at least 5 hours have to be carried out in an aeroplane certificated for the carriage of at least 4 persons that has a variable pitch propeller and retractable landing gear;
